The online medical service Helsi has launched urgent online consultations for Ukrainians. During the session, the patient receives answers to questions about his or her health condition and a referral to a specialized doctor.
In addition, a person can receive an electronic prescription for antibiotics and other prescription drugs online. We tell you how to make an appointment and what the cost of services is.
It is noted that one such consultation lasts 15 minutes. In complicated cases, the doctor will extend the time on his/her own.
"With such a consultation, a patient can get a repeat e-prescription in 5 minutes if the treatment is long and it is necessary to extend its course. With this e-prescription, you can immediately go to the pharmacy", - Helsi comments.
How to get help through Helsi?
Urgent help can be obtained through the Helsi app for patients by choosing audio, video, or chat to communicate with a doctor.
The doctor provides all the standard services: consultations, prescriptions, or referrals to a specialized doctor.
The main advantage of an urgent consultation is that the patient waits only a few minutes for an appointment, and the doctor is already online.
It is emphasized that an urgent online consultation can also be arranged while abroad.
How do I sign up for a Helsi online consultation and what is the cost of an appointment?
To make an appointment, you need to log in to the Helsi app. After authorization, select the "Services" section and the "Urgent Online Consultation" section.
The patient chooses for whom to create a consultation: for himself or herself or for relatives (children, parents, etc.).
The app allows a mother or father to order and pay for services for their child. All this happens from the parent's account, and the doctor will work with the child's card.
If the patient is an adult - for example, a son orders a consultation for his parents - the father's or mother's card should be selected in the "related persons" and the connection with them should be confirmed via SMS.
Every healthcare professional who connects to urgent online consultations has a medical license.
The cost of a consultation is 200 hryvnias and is charged only after a successful appointment. The doctor providing the service receives 2/3 of the money.
What to do if the consultation did not take place?
If a doctor is not found and the appointment does not take place, the application will be automatically canceled in 2 hours, and the money will be returned to the patient's account from his or her bank.
If the appointment was interrupted, for example, due to a power outage, the doctor will contact you later and complete the consultation. In any case, payment is made only after the service is fully received.
Helsi emphasizes that the cost and convenience of urgent online consultations are currently optimized for the comfort of both the doctor and the patient: they speak positively about their own experience in this process. This is a new trend that will completely change the relationship in the healthcare sector.
The introduction of an urgent online consultation for patients coincided with the launch of an e-prescription for all prescription drugs. With such a consultation, a patient can receive a second e-prescription in 5 minutes if the treatment is long and it is necessary to extend its course.
It is emphasized that this e-prescription can be used to go to the pharmacy. In particular, it is convenient to order such a drug at a discount through the "Medicines Online" in the Helsi app.
Although a paper prescription for such medicines is also valid, it is more convenient to use an e-prescription: it is faster and cheaper to purchase medicines.
We remind you! Earlier we wrote that starting from April 1, 2023, prescription drugs in Ukraine will be available for purchase by e-prescription. This change made a lot of noise on social media and increased queues at pharmacies. We found out what changes are waiting for Ukrainians and analyzed the most common myths. Read more about it here.
