Some critical businesses can now book all their employees: how to do it

Critically important enterprises in frontline regions can now make reservations for all their employees. This will allow companies responsible for the country's vital functions and security to continue operating and protect their employees from mobilisation. Critically important enterprises operating in frontline territories or ensuring the region's vital functions have been given the opportunity to reserve all their employees. Companies will now be able to apply for a deferral from mobilisation for their entire staff — this decision is intended to support the uninterrupted operation of the most important sectors of the economy and infrastructure.

How to obtain the right to reserve

Before submitting an application, the enterprise must confirm its status:

▪️ check whether the region where the company operates is included in the list of territories with active or completed hostilities or temporarily occupied;

▪️ contact the regional military administration to obtain the right to reserve an increased percentage of employees;

▪️ wait for a positive decision and update the information about the company in the Unified List of Critically Important Companies.

Only after that will it be possible to submit applications for reservations through the Dіia portal.

Step-by-step instructions in ‘Dіia’

1. Log in to the “Dіia” portal and select the ‘Employee Reservation’ service.

2. Enter the personal data of employees, specify their positions and confirm their salary levels.

3. Have the documents signed by the manager or an authorised person.

4. Track the status of the application in your personal account and by email.

Once the application has been successfully processed, the booking details will be displayed in the ‘Reserve+’ app for each employee.

Reservation period

For critically important enterprises, the reservation period is set at 12 months. After its expiration, the procedure can be repeated while maintaining the company's status.

Thus, the new procedure allows enterprises in frontline and strategically important territories to protect their entire staff from mobilisation and maintain stability in their work.

Reminder! Ukraine is preparing changes to the rules for reserving employees of critically important enterprises. The Verkhovna Rada has supported in the first reading a bill that allows temporary reservations even for men without a military ID or those who are wanted by the TCC.
