How is property tax calculated?
It is worth remembering that in 2025, Ukrainians will pay tax for the 2024 reporting year. The amount depends on the size of the property:
● apartments over 60 square meters,
● houses over 120 square meters,
● various types of housing or their shares over 180 square meters.
If the area exceeds the established norms, an additional amount is charged. To determine it yourself, you can use the online calculator on the State Tax Service portal.
How to check and pay the tax?
Each homeowner receives a tax notice-decision. It can be found in:
● the taxpayer's electronic office (if you have an electronic signature),
● the mobile application “My Tax”.
You can pay the tax through banking services, online applications, or directly at bank branches.
