Cheese and wine – gastronomic gems of Transcarpathia
What is Transcarpathia famous for? Definitely cheese and wine. You can explore the Carpathians, castles, wine and cheese during the “Cheese and Wine Tour of Transcarpathia”. Tourists will taste delicious cheese at the “Carpathian Buffalo” farm, where local enthusiasts are trying to save the northernmost buffalo population in the world. Currently, there are over 100 Carpathian buffaloes on the farm that you can observe, as well as taste and purchase various types of buffalo and sheep cheese. The Berehove region has long been famous worldwide for its wines, which have a wonderful aroma and a rich variety of flavours. This is thanks to the volcanic rocks on which the grapes grow and the energy of the sun, as this is the sunniest place in Transcarpathia. Even the most demanding tourists will be impressed by the delicious Transcarpathian wine.
Transcarpathia knows how to surprise not only with its taste, but also with a combination of impressions. For those who want to experience everything at once — ‘Weekend Tour + Water Park’. One day filled with history, nature, relaxation and wine. The journey begins with an introduction to the rock fortress ‘Tustan’ — a unique monument of ancient Russian architecture, carved right into the rock. Next — the aristocratic elegance of the palace of the Counts of Schönborn, where every hall breathes history. After the cultural tour, relax at the Karpatia thermal water park, where the healing waters relieve fatigue and fill you with energy. End the day with a tasting of Transcarpathian wine in Mukachevo, which will give you a smooth aftertaste and harmoniously combine a day of pleasure for the body and soul.

A gastronomic journey through Kyiv: taste, history and emotions
‘Gastro Family Tour’ is a journey through flavours that bring history to life and streets that preserve the spirit of the times. The journey begins with a surprise — Ukrainian oysters, which have become a gastronomic symbol of modern Kyiv. Lyubchik treats you not only to a seafood delicacy from the Black Sea, but also to the history of their appearance in the capital. A master class on opening oysters and tasting them with horseradish, beetroot or even honey sets the tone for the rest of the journey: delicious, profound, meaningful.
Next is a walk along Vozdvyzhenska Street, where narrow streets bear the names of craftsmen, and the guide reveals the ancient gastronomic heart of Podil. From mead to gingerbread, ancient recipes are intertwined with architectural legends and stories about Bulgakov and Mykyta Kozhumyaka.
The next stop is the Kanapa restaurant, where wooden walls keep the secrets of fires, artistic experiments, and even intellectual hangouts. Here, you can not only try salo in chocolate, but also make a wish by the old fireplace and get a certificate for a future gastronomic return. History comes alive when you learn that works by 20th-century artists are still preserved under layers of paint.
The route then leads to the quiet of St. Michael's Square, where every building is a witness to struggle, love, and faith.
The finale of the first part is at The Last Barricade. Here, varenyky are not just a dish, but an act of culinary resistance. And the museum atmosphere, built into the very heart of Maidan, turns lunch into a patriotic ritual.
And just when you think there is nothing left to impress you, the tour takes you to Gorodetsky Street — the real Paris of Kyiv. It all ends at the VATRA restaurant, where dessert turns into a fire show: smoked ice cream with bacon and smoke that you will remember forever.
Franyk's gastronomic tour: dishes that change your perception of Ukrainian cuisine
Frankivsk reveals itself through a gastronomic prism, where Polish sophistication meets Jewish ingenuity, and Ukrainian tradition borders on Austrian restraint.
At first glance, it all starts with a simple question: ‘What should I try here?’ But the answer leads to deep layers of history, where cuisine is divided into aristocratic and folk, festive and everyday, and each dish has its own origin — whether from the Dnipro region or Vienna.
The ‘Gastronomic Walk with Franyk’ tour offers not only tastings, but also an introduction to those who are creating the city's new gastronomic culture. The guides talk about establishments that have survived wars, the underground, Soviet bans, and are now trying to rediscover their taste. You will learn how restaurateurs skilfully played with marketing in the interwar period and how post-war poverty gave rise to unique recipes for survival.
In Ivano-Frankivsk, you will discover dishes that have stood the test of time, oblivion and revival.
