Cyclone Boris has reached Odesa: what is known so far?
The large-scale downpour in Odesa on 15 September is a ‘greeting’ from the strong cyclone Boris that hit Europe a few days ago.
As a result of the downpour, several streets in Kyivskyi and Peresypskyi districts were flooded, and traffic was hampered on neighbouring streets: Heavenly Hundred and Akademika Glushko avenues, Chikalenko, Inglesi, Khimichna, Balkivska, Varnenska, Primorskaya, Tserkovna, Ataman Chepiga streets and Gazovyi lane. Emergency crews of the utility services are on duty here.
The area of Peresypskyi Bridge is in the flood zone.
Trams 12, 15 and 20 are currently suspended in Odesa.
For safe travelling in Europe at any time, it is worth ordering health insurance. Please note that in Europe, health insurance is no longer a luxury, but a necessity, especially in times of natural disasters.
