Starting February 1, 2026, Ukraine will resume and expand state support for children from internally displaced families. This was announced by Danylo Getmantsev, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada's tax committee.

According to him, the coalition council has reached an agreement on the introduction of monthly payments for all IDP children. The relevant decision is currently in the process of being formalized in the form of a resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Who will receive it and how much?

Starting February 1, 2026, each child in an IDP family will receive 3,000 hryvnia per month.

It is important to note that this assistance will be provided regardless of other family income — that is, without taking into account wages, social benefits, or other income.

In addition to payments for children, MPs continue to work on increasing the income level for other internally displaced persons. This involves increasing the income limit to 10,380 hryvnia per month, taking into account the current criteria for granting assistance.

Monitoring of the implementation of the agreements reached will continue to ensure that payments are made on time and in full.
