This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Austria.
Where exactly will it be possible to study Ukrainian?

BRO — BRO — das BORG 3

Format of study
Ukrainian can be studied from the 5th grade of high school (Oberstufe), which corresponds to the 9th year of study in the Austrian education system.
Lessons will be held after the end of the main classes, which allows them to be combined with studying at any school in the city.
Who can apply?
Students from various schools in Vienna can apply to study Ukrainian, not just those who study directly at BRO or BRW. This opens up the opportunity for a much wider range of children to join in learning their native language.
The introduction of Ukrainian as a second foreign language was made possible by the sufficient number of applications submitted. It was the active position of parents and students that demonstrated the real demand for such education.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Austria encourages you to continue choosing Ukrainian as a second foreign language in order to preserve and develop Ukrainian identity among young people abroad.
