Ukrzaliznytsia has resumed the route of its flagship train, Hutsulshchyna, to the Carpathian highlands. Train No. 95/96, running between Kyiv and Yasinya, has once again been extended to Rakhiv. This was reported by the carrier's press service on its Telegram channel.

According to the company, the decision was made taking into account passenger requests. The restored route began operating on December 28.

The flagship train “Hutsulshchyna” is once again traveling to Rakhiv

The Ukrzaliznytsia announcement states that the flagship train No. 95/96 Kyiv-Yasinya has extended its route to Rakhiv with an additional stop at the Kvasy station.

“We listened to the wishes of passengers and, starting December 28, the flagship train ‘Hutsulshchyna’ No. 95/96 Kyiv-Yasinya continued its route to Rakhiv with a stop at the Kvasy station,” Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

Thus, the train once again provides a direct rail link from the eastern and central regions of Ukraine to one of the most famous high-altitude destinations in the Carpathians.

What other trains run to Rakhiv

Ukrzaliznytsia also reminded that, in addition to the flagship train “Hutsulshchyna,” other trains currently run to Rakhiv:

● train No. 143/144 Sumy — Rakhiv;

● Train No. 55/56 Kyiv — Rakhiv;

● Suburban diesel train No. 6441/6442 Kolomyia — Dilove.
