Winter support: until what date can you apply for 1,000 UAH?

Ukrainians can receive state financial assistance in the amount of 1,000 hryvnia under the Winter 1,000 program. The payment can be used for basic needs — from utilities to food or charity. At the same time, it is important to remember the deadline for submitting an application.

‼️ December 24 is the last day to apply for Winter 1000. After this date, applications will no longer be accepted.

What is Winter 1000 and how many Ukrainians have already received payments?

The Winter 1000 program is a one-time government support program for Ukrainian citizens during the difficult winter period. According to official data, more than 17 million Ukrainians have already taken advantage of the program, and most of them have already received funds on their National Cashback cards.

The 1,000 UAH received can be spent on:

utility bills;

food;

medicine;

books;

postal services;

charitable contributions and donations, including support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Who is eligible for “Winter 1000”?

Participation in the program is available to all Ukrainians who are in Ukraine.

Also:

fathers, mothers, or guardians can apply on behalf of minor children;

in the Diya app, the child's birth certificate is automatically retrieved without additional documents.

How to get the money?

There are two ways to receive funds — online or offline.

Through the Diya app

This is the most convenient and popular method. Funds can be used for:

utility bills;

medicines;

products;

books;

postal services;

charity and donations.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Install or update the Diya app.

2. Go to the “Services” menu.

3. Select the “National Cashback” section.

4. Find the “Winter eSupport” service and click “Start.”

5. Specify who the payment is for — yourself or your child.

6. Select an account to which the funds will be credited or open a new “Dіia.Card” card at a partner bank.

7. Check the details and submit your application.

8. Wait for the funds to be credited.

Through Ukrposhta branches

The second option is to visit a Ukrposhta branch.
