Hourly flights to Germany from UZ: what does the regular service model mean?
The press service of the railway holding explains that regular service means a stable and repeatable interval between trains, thanks to which passengers receive a clear and understandable schedule. Trains will depart every hour, which will significantly optimize travel planning.
Most flights on this route will be available throughout the year. The only exceptions will be a few trains during periods of “off-peak” demand.

European standard in Ukrainian railways
The regular-interval model is common in countries with developed railway networks, such as Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. In Ukraine, its effectiveness has already been demonstrated by the Kyiv City Express suburban route, which operates on this principle.
The launch of hourly service between Lviv and Kyiv is another step toward harmonizing Ukrainian railways with European railway system standards.
What does this mean for passengers?
It is more convenient to plan trips — you can choose almost any departure time.
Reduced load on individual peak flights.
Less time waiting for transfers for those traveling from other regions.
Improved punctuality thanks to a standardized schedule.
The new approach should make travel between Kyiv and Lviv faster, more comfortable, and more predictable for millions of passengers.
