Popular low-cost airlines continue to update their schedules for the next year, and the news is different. Some routes will disappear from the map, while new opportunities for traveling around Europe with connections at Polish airports, which remain the most convenient for Ukrainians, will appear.

What will change in the Ryanair and Wizz Air schedules in 2026?

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has officially announced the complete cancellation of flights to/from the Azores. The last flight is scheduled for March 29, 2026, after which the destination will temporarily disappear from the carrier's network.

Earlier, we reported that Ryanair is reducing its fleet in Vienna due to high taxes.

At the same time, Hungarian Wizz Air is expanding its flights from Poland. In spring 2026, the airline will add flights from Gdansk, Katowice, and Lublin to Rijeka, Croatia. In addition, from March 31, 2026, Wizz Air will launch new routes from Katowice to the Italian resort of Rimini and Sofia, Bulgaria.

In the previous article, we talked about how Wizz Air unlimited travel passes work, their cost, and the airline's rules.

Passengers should check the availability of routes in advance and plan their trips taking into account the updated schedule, especially if you often use Polish hubs for transfers.
