The Carpathians are not just mountains, they are the soul of Ukraine, pulsating to the rhythm of Hutsul melodies and whispering legends through centuries-old fir trees. Here, every trail leads to new discoveries, every breath of mountain air fills you with energy, and every sunset over the mountain pastures becomes an unforgettable memory.

A three-day trip to this enchanting land promises to be a real adventure, combining active recreation, cultural enrichment, and spiritual renewal.

Yaremche and Dovbush Rocks: a first encounter with the Hutsul region

The journey begins in picturesque Yaremche, a true pearl of the Carpathian region, where Hutsul culture reveals itself in all its beauty. Here, travellers will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a traditional souvenir market, where craftsmen offer unique products made of wood, wool and metal, created using ancient techniques. The Probiy Waterfall will be the first natural wonder on the tourists' route — its turbulent waters crashing against the rocks create an incredible symphonic accompaniment to the start of the mountain adventure.

A special place in the programme is reserved for an excursion to the legendary Dovbush Rocks, shrouded in mysteries and legends about the famous outlaw. These majestic stone formations not only impress with their natural beauty, but also tell the story of the struggle for justice that has lived in the hearts of the Carpathians for centuries. The first day ends with an incredible jeep tour along mountain trails, where tourists can enjoy panoramic views and taste aromatic mulled wine at high altitude.

Conquering Hoverla: reaching the highest point in Ukraine

The second day of the trip is dedicated to the main goal — climbing the highest peak in Ukraine. With a height of 2,061 metres, Hoverla is not just a geographical point, but a symbol of achievement and personal victory for everyone who dares to conquer it. The route to the summit passes through picturesque mountain meadows, dense forests and rocky slopes, where every step opens up new horizons of incredible beauty.

At the top, tourists will experience a unique moment of triumph when the boundless Carpathian expanses reveal themselves in all their glory. Here you can take that same unforgettable photo with the ‘Hoverla’ sign, which will become a source of pride and a reminder of your own capabilities. For those who choose an alternative programme, there are equally interesting options: walks to mountain waterfalls, cycling routes among the Carpathian trails or relaxation in the popular resort of Bukovel.

Bukovel and the Perci mountain pasture: immersion in authentic Hutsul life

The final day of the three-day adventure begins in Bukovel, a modern ski resort that harmoniously combines active entertainment with traditional culture. Here, travellers can visit the Hutsul Land ethno-complex, where ancient crafts and customs of the mountain people come to life. The zoo allows you to get acquainted with the flora and fauna of the Carpathians, and various attractions, including a toboggan run and a Ferris wheel, add adrenaline to the mountain experience.

The cultural programme culminates with a visit to the authentic Perci mountain pasture, where tourists will have a unique opportunity to experience authentic Hutsul life. Here, among mountain pastures and wooden huts, you can observe the traditional life of the Hutsuls, listen to folk music and taste dishes prepared according to ancient recipes. This experience allows you not only to see, but also to feel the soul of Carpathian culture, to understand the philosophy of living in harmony with nature and the traditions of your ancestors.
