Transcarpathia can surprise even the most demanding travellers. Thermal pools, authentic cuisine, castles, ancient legends and breathtaking landscapes — all this is combined in a five-day trip that will give you relaxation and new discoveries.

Where exactly will the route take you, what gastronomic tastings and entertainment await you — we will tell you more in this article.

The atmosphere of ancient castles and cities

From the very first days of the tour, you will be immersed in the world of the Middle Ages. St. Miklos Castle in Chynadievo will reveal its romantic legends, and Mukachevo will enchant you with its historic centre and majestic fortress.

Next on the route is the mysterious Nevytsky Castle, standing on a hill above the Uzh River. These stops will allow you to feel the true atmosphere of bygone eras and see how the cultural monuments of Transcarpathia have been preserved.

Hot springs and restorative relaxation

The tour lasts five days, and during this time you will have plenty of opportunities to relax in thermal waters. Kosyno, Velyatino and Barvinok welcome travellers with swimming in mineral water pools, while Lumshory offers a unique experience of relaxing in hot vats surrounded by mountain nature. This is the perfect opportunity to recharge your batteries and completely reboot.

Gastronomic discoveries

Transcarpathia is famous for its flavours, and during the tour you will have the opportunity to experience them to the fullest. Tasting homemade jam and sausages in Botari, sampling dishes at an ostrich farm, enjoying a snail menu in Izi, and trying traditional dishes in Perechyn – all this creates a real gastronomic journey. Add to this a tasting of Transcarpathian wines, and your trip will become even more colourful.

Nature and colour of the Carpathians

In addition to cities and gastronomy, the route offers an introduction to the beauty of mountain landscapes. A walk through Shenborn Park in Voivodina, a visit to the wooden church in Kostryna, the picturesque valleys and green hills of Berehove – every day will bring new impressions.

And finally, an excursion to the bunker in Verkhnia Hrabivnytsia, which will reveal interesting pages of military history.
