The government actively supports young people by creating opportunities for them to realize their potential. At this year's Ukrainian Youth Forum dedicated to Youth Day, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced key changes that will soon come into effect.
Grants for creative and youth initiatives
The Prime Minister announced the launch of new grants for representatives of creative industries.
In addition, the “Own Business” program will receive significant financial support: the grant amount will increase from 150,000 to 200,000 hryvnia.
Admission to university is not only about choosing a speciality, but also about legal nuances that can play a key role. For Ukrainians, Visit Ukraine offers the services of lawyers specialising in education: assistance with submitting documents and explaining admission rules.

Presidential scholarship for successful school students
Schoolchildren who successfully pass the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT) with a score of 185 points or higher will receive an annual presidential scholarship of 10,000 UAH.
In addition, the number of such scholarships will increase to 400.
Further plans for next year
Yulia Svyrydenko confirmed that the president has already given instructions to increase scholarships for all students starting next year, which is a long-awaited and necessary decision.
Thus, starting in September, the government has increased the amount of other presidential scholarships, in particular:
Vocational schools (students) - 6,320 UAH
Colleges/technical schools (students) - 7,600 UAH
Universities (students) - 10,000 UAH
Postgraduate students - 23,700 UAH
Schoolchildren with NMAT ≥ 185 points (year) - 10,000 UAH (up to 400 people)
These steps are an important signal that the state wants to invest in the most talented and ambitious young people. On the one hand, significant increases in presidential scholarships will come into effect this fall. On the other hand, further expansion of support is planned for next year, which will cover a wider range of students.
By the way, for foreigners who want to study in Ukraine, the services of immigration lawyers are available — assistance in obtaining visas, residence permits, study permits and legalisation of documents. This is especially relevant for students from countries where additional documentation is required for admission.
