Ukrainian students can attend the main CES 2026 innovation exhibition free of charge: what do they need to do?

Thirty Ukrainian students studying technical subjects will be able to attend one of the world's most famous technology events, CES 2026 in Las Vegas, free of charge. The trip will be fully funded by the Ukrainian company Ajax Systems as part of a new educational initiative. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, on his Facebook page and on the official website of Ajax Systems.

"No digital transformation is possible without people — without young people who will set the trends in Ukraine's technological development tomorrow. That is why we support such projects that help Ukrainian students gain global experience," the minister commented.

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is one of the largest electronics exhibitions in the world, where the latest developments, innovative start-ups and technological breakthroughs are demonstrated every year. For students, this is a unique opportunity to glimpse the future of the industry and find professional contacts at the international level.

Who can apply?

Students who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply:

▪️ are enrolled in full-time studies;

▪️ are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree;

▪️ are studying in technical fields;

▪️ have a minimum English language proficiency of B1;

▪️ are at least 18 years of age.

According to the organisers, participation in CES could be the first step for students towards their own breakthrough in the world of technology. They will be able to see the latest developments first-hand, be inspired by the innovative approaches of world leaders and eventually present their own inventions on the international stage.

What will be considered during the selection process

The Ajax team will evaluate candidates based on the following criteria:

▪️ academic performance;

▪️ participation in extracurricular scientific or technical projects;

▪️ content of the motivation letter.

Based on this information, a ranking will be formed, after which the strongest candidates will be interviewed. Based on the selection results, 30 finalists will be chosen, who will travel to Las Vegas for CES in January 2026.
