A new section called Veteran PRO has appeared in the Diia: what services are available there?
An important support tool for those who defended the country has appeared in digital services for Ukrainians. A new section in Diia provides access to key services without unnecessary complications and queues. Learn more about the features of the Veteran PRO section and how to use it
Ukraine continues to actively implement digital services for citizens, and this time special attention is paid to our heroes — veterans.
The Diia app has launched a new section called Veteran PRO, which is another step towards simplifying veterans' interaction with government agencies.
Read on to find out what the new service offers, who can use it, and what else is planned.
What is Veteran PRO and who is it for?
The Veteran PRO section in Diia is a digital space that brings together the most essential services for war veterans and their families.
The main goal is to minimise bureaucracy and make government services as accessible as possible with just a few clicks on a smartphone. This feature is intended for those who already have a veteran ID card, which is displayed in the app.
What services are currently available in the Veteran PRO section?
Currently, users can take advantage of six main services, including:
– Search for a specialist who accompanies veterans. Helps find a specialist for consultation and support.
– Sports programmes for veterans. Support for physical activity and rehabilitation.
– eOselya (Home). Opportunity to receive support for purchasing housing.
– eVidnovlennya (Restoration). Assistance in restoring housing damaged by the war.
– Registration of status as a person with a war-related disability. Simplified document submission process.
– Application for subsidies. Online application without queues or paperwork.

Why is a digital space for veterans necessary?
Today, there are over 1.3 million people with veteran status in Ukraine. They face numerous challenges, from medical needs to housing and employment issues. A new section in Diia allows you to quickly find the information you need and receive services without visiting government agencies. This saves a lot of time and stress, as everything is in one place.
How to use the Veteran PRO section?
To open Veteran PRO, simply update the Diia app to the latest version, go to the ‘Services’ section and select the new item. This will open a list of services available to veterans. If you already have an electronic veteran ID, no additional confirmation is required.
The launch of Veteran PRO is just the beginning. The government and the Ministry of Veterans Affairs plan to gradually expand the list of services: they intend to integrate programmes for rehabilitation, training, business support and other initiatives that will help veterans adapt and fulfil themselves in peaceful life.
Reminder! The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched a new electronic registration feature via the E-Zaporizhzhya mobile app. Ukrainians can now quickly and conveniently register for the services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centres from their smartphones. How to use the app, what rules and restrictions apply, and how to manage your online registration — read here.
