Stara Darnytsia is one of the first settlements on the territory of modern Left Bank Kyiv.
It is believed that in ancient times it was here that foreign ambassadors bowed to the princes of the capital and brought gifts for them.
Nearby flowed the magical Darnytsia River with a giant lake, where excursions were held in the early twentieth century!
Today, Stara Darnitsa has fully preserved the flavor of antiquity. There are carved wooden huts surrounded by flowering gardens, and all this beauty is hidden among the dense concrete high-rises of the Left Bank.
