Foreign citizens from countries that have a visa-free regime with Ukraine can stay in the country for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. This applies to travellers for tourism, visiting relatives, medical treatment, etc. If you plan to stay longer or want to work or study, you need to apply for a visa in advance.

For visa-free entry, a foreigner must have:

– A valid foreign passport with at least one free page;

– Documents confirming the purpose of the visit (travel reservations, invitations from relatives, tickets to events);

– Sufficient funds for living expenses;

– Medical insurance covering COVID-19.

Citizens of countries without a visa-free regime must obtain a short-term or long-term visa, depending on the purpose of their trip.
