1. Mazovia Province – the leader in terms of the number of Ukrainians

The largest number of Ukrainians have settled in Mazovia Province, particularly in the country's capital, Warsaw. It is home to 22% of all Ukrainian citizens in Poland. The capital attracts immigrants with its wide range of employment opportunities, high wages, and access to social assistance and adaptation programs.

2. Lower Silesian Voivodeship – Wrocław as a magnet for newcomers

In second place is Lower Silesia, whose administrative center is Wrocław. Twelve percent of Ukrainians live here. Wrocław is famous for its openness, developed infrastructure, and the local community's welcoming attitude toward refugees.

3. Greater Poland – stability and prospects

Third place goes to the Greater Poland Voivodeship, centered in Poznań, where 11% of Ukrainians live. This city is known for its economic potential and stable labor market.

9% of Ukrainian citizens live in the Lesser Poland (Krakow) and Silesian (Katowice) provinces. These regions are attractive for their educational institutions and developed business environment.

Reasons for this distribution

The geographical distribution of the Ukrainian diaspora in Poland is primarily determined by economic factors, the presence of large cities with a developed labor market, and better conditions for integration. The central, western, and southern parts of the country have become the main regions where Ukrainians find a new home.

Despite possible changes in the future, it is already clear today that Poland has become a key destination for Ukrainian citizens in search of security and new opportunities.
