Voyevodyn Waterfall (Zakarpattia region)


Voyevodyn Waterfall located in the picturesque gorge of the Voyevodyn River, which originates in the Runa meadow, this waterfall is one of the highest in Transcarpathia. Its cascades plummet from a height of about 9 metres, forming several picturesque rapids. In the spring, when the mountain streams are at their fullest, Voyevodyn impresses with its power and beauty. A hiking route through a beech forest leads to the waterfall, which makes the walk even more enjoyable. The clean mountain air and the sound of the water create an atmosphere of peace and harmony.


Shypit Waterfall (Zakarpattia region)


Perhaps one of the most famous and popular waterfalls in Ukraine, Shypit fascinates with its numerous cascades falling from a height of about 14 metres. It got its name for the characteristic whisper of water that can be heard from afar. In spring, Shypit is especially majestic, as meltwater fills it with power and volume. The surroundings of the waterfall are equipped for tourists, with viewing platforms, souvenir shops and cosy cafes. Every year, an informal festival is held near Shypit, attracting young people from all over the country.

Probiy waterfall (Ivano-Frankivsk region)


Probiy Waterfall is located in the heart of Yaremche, on the Prut River, and is one of the most accessible and most visited waterfalls in the Carpathians. Its height is only 8 metres, but it impresses with its power and the turbulent flow of water that makes its way through the rocks. There is a bridge over the waterfall, which offers a breathtaking view of this natural element. The souvenir market and other tourist attractions of Yaremche are located nearby, making visiting Probiy convenient and interesting.


Crystal waterfalls Gorgan (Ivano-Frankivsk region)


The Gorgan Crystal Waterfalls are a group of small but extremely picturesque waterfalls located in the Gorgan mountain range, near the village of Sheshory. They got their name from the crystal clear water that falls in numerous cascades down the rocky slopes covered with moss. In the spring, when the streams are filled with melt water, these waterfalls show their special beauty. They can be reached by hiking trails through dense forests and picturesque mountain scenery. A visit to the Crystal Falls will give you a sense of unity with the wild.


Dzhuryn waterfall (Ternopil region)


Although not located in the mountains, but on the plains of Ternopil region, Dzhuryn Waterfall is one of the highest plain waterfalls in Ukraine. Its three cascades with a total height of about 16 metres fall in the picturesque canyon of the Dzhuryn River. In the spring, after the snow melts and spring rains, the waterfall becomes especially full and loud. The surroundings of the waterfall are of historical significance, as the ruins of Chervonohrad Castle are located nearby, which adds a special atmosphere to the place.
