Features of the admission campaign for bachelor's programmes

To apply for a bachelor's programme, applicants must submit the results of the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT), with a minimum passing score of 100 out of 200. In 2025, NMT admission results from 2022-2024 can be used, allowing applicants to choose their best results. In addition, applicants can submit up to 5 applications for state-funded places and 10 for contract places.

This year has an important feature: the test will not include open-ended questions, allowing participants to find out their scores immediately after taking the exam.

A weighting coefficient will be applied to each subject of the NMT to calculate the competitive score. This means that scores in more important subjects will have a greater impact on the applicant's final ranking.

When to submit documents?

The admission campaign for bachelor's degrees begins on 1 July 2025. From this date, applicants will be able to register in their electronic accounts and upload the necessary documents. The acceptance of applications will start on 19 July and end on 1 August at 18:00.

Creative competitions and interviews

If admission requires creative competitions or interviews, you can register to participate from 3 July until 18:00 on 10 July for applicants for state-funded places and until 18:00 on 25 July for applicants for contract-based places only. Creative competitions will take place from 8 to 19 July, and for contract-based applicants — until 1 August.

Enrolment

The lists of applicants and recommendations for enrolment on a state-funded basis will be compiled by 6 August. Enrolment on a state-funded basis will take place until 9 August, and on a contract basis until 11 August. Admission under preferential state loans will end on 30 August 2025.

Admission to master's programmes

In 2025, applicants for admission to master's programmes must pass two exams: a single entrance exam (ЄВЕ) and a single professional entrance exam (ЄПВІ). The EIE includes a logic test and a foreign language test (English, German, French or Spanish), while the EPIE is a subject-specific exam (e.g. law, economics, psychology).

This year will bring changes: now, ‘Linguistics’ and ‘Art History’ have been added to the list of specialties for which the EPI is mandatory, bringing the total number of such disciplines to 10. Applicants can take up to two EPIs.

Registration for participation in the EIT and EPIT takes place from 2 to 23 May 2025 and is available through the admissions committee of any university.

Military ID upon admission. What documents are required?

Men who have reached the age of 17 must provide a military registration document upon admission to educational institutions. However, young people born in 2009 or those who are younger than this age are not required to submit a military ID.

Electronic military registration is now available through the Reserve+ app, where you can generate an electronic military registration document with a QR code. This document is valid only in electronic form, as well as in paper form if printed and provided with a QR code.

What do applicants need to know about submitting documents?

All details about the deadlines and procedure for submitting documents must be specified in the admission rules of each educational institution. Some universities may grant deferrals for applicants who are in temporarily occupied territories or abroad, which is important to consider when planning your admission.
