Today, on February 24, the anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the global action Stand With Ukraine will take place.

The event is organized by the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), which calls upon all concerned around the world to join this initiative.

How to join the action?

The organizers invite Ukrainians, community organizations and friends of Ukraine to support the event in their cities. On the official website of the event you can:

• find registered events in your city;

• add a new event;

• download promotional materials (posters, banners, etc.).

So far, more than 1000 events have been registered in 655 cities in 78 countries, and the number continues to grow.

Key events of the campaign

One of the key events of the global campaign will be the Global alarm.

Today, on February 24, at 18:00 local time, Ukrainian communities around the world will simultaneously sound an air raid alarm. This symbolic action is intended to remind the world that Russia's war against Ukraine continues and is a powerful call for further action to support Ukraine.

The Ukrainian World Congress calls for: "Wherever you live, join the global action Stand With Ukraine! Unite for Ukrainian Victory!". Every voice and every action counts in the fight for Ukraine's freedom and independence.

Why is it important to join?

This action is not only a way to express support for Ukraine, but also to remind the global community of the need for decisive action to counter the aggressor. It strengthens international support, puts pressure on governments and helps to expand assistance to Ukraine.
