The Ukrainian government has adopted new legislative norms, according to which the QR code in the Reserve+ mobile application is now recognized as an official military registration document for presentation at the border. This was reported by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Colonel Andriy Demchenko, in a comment to UP.

According to Demchenko, the Ministry of Defense announced the possibility of issuing a military registration document in electronic form using a mobile application.

In this regard, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine notes that border control measures will remain unchanged and will be carried out in accordance with the current legislation. 

Decisions on passage will be made on the basis of a full set of necessary documents and relevant information.

This includes the presence in military registration documents, both paper and electronic, of data on exemption from mobilization or exclusion from military registration for health reasons.

As you know, since May 18, this is an additional condition for crossing the border for certain categories of citizens.

Demchenko also emphasized that border guards recommend that persons liable for military service carefully check their military registration documents, including in electronic form, to make sure they have all the necessary data to cross the border.

To prevent the use of fake documents, border guards can check information from military records through the Oberig system.

In case of discrepancies, SBGS representatives have the right to refuse a citizen to leave Ukraine.
