Polish employers appreciate migrants from Ukraine

According to the results of the study "Labor Market Barometer of Poland", conducted by Personnel Service, it was found that 78% of Polish employers express a positive or neutral attitude towards employees from Ukraine.

They highly appreciate such qualities of Ukrainian employees as quick adaptation (42%), hard work (34%), and the ability to quickly learn Polish (30%).

It is noted that every fourth entrepreneur appreciates employees from Ukraine for their experience, and every fifth for their modesty, creating a positive atmosphere and loyalty.

It is also noted that 14% of employers value the knowledge of Ukrainians, but 17% do not note anything positive in their work, which is a significant increase compared to the previous year.

According to the company's experts, public attitudes toward Ukrainian workers have changed somewhat, with both positive and negative attitudes increasing compared to the previous year.

In addition, it is believed that 41% of Poles see a slowdown in wage growth due to the presence of Ukrainian workers, and one in five sees competition from them in the labor market.

How has the attitude towards Ukrainian workers in Poland changed?

According to the company's representative Krzysztof Inglot, the deterioration of attitudes towards Ukrainians in society is a challenge for HR departments in organizations that employ or plan to employ foreigners. According to the study, this applies to as many as 43% of companies in Poland. Focusing on employee training and integration becomes a key task.

The analysis by industry shows that companies in the IT sector have the most positive attitude towards Ukrainian employees: 56% of respondents expressed a very positive or positive opinion. In industry, this figure is slightly lower at 6%.
