Road strikes in Poland on January 24
According to inpoland.net.pl, Adrian Wawrzyniak, spokesman for the agrarian organization Solidarnośc, called on all farmers and agricultural unions in Poland to join the protests on January 24. Polish farmers are expected to block all roads in the country from 12:00 to 14:00.
It is possible that the border with Ukraine will also be blocked, as farmers will take to the streets to protest against grain imports from Ukraine, as well as against the European Union and ideas that they believe want to significantly limit the production of crop and livestock products in Poland and the EU.
It is also reported that the National Council of Agricultural Chambers has supported the upcoming protests.

Six-day strike at the German railroad
The German Railway Workers' Union (GDL) has announced a new large-scale strike that will paralyze the entire country for 6 days. According to AP, citing a statement from the GDL, railroad workers will block the movement of passenger trains of the state-owned Deutsche Bahn from 02:00 on Wednesday, January 24, to 18:00 on Monday, January 29. At the same time, freight trains will go on strike even earlier - from 18:00 on Tuesday, January 23. It is not yet known what percentage of trains will be canceled or rescheduled.
Trade union members will continue to demand better working conditions from Deutsche Bahn: higher wages and a reduction in working hours from 38 to 35 hours per week without cutting wages.
