Do Ukrainians need a visa to Thailand in 2025?

Currently, Ukrainian citizens can enter Thailand without a visa, but only for tourism and for a short period. The visa-free regime allows you to stay in the country for up to 60 days. This is enough time for a holiday, but not for a full life or to look for work. If you plan to stay longer or have come for the purpose of studying or working, you will need a visa.

What visas are available to Ukrainians for Thailand?

The choice of visa depends on your plans. For short trips, there is a tourist visa, which allows you to stay in the country for up to two months and, if desired, extend it for another 30 days.

For those thinking about a longer stay, there are several visa options:

– Category B visa – for official employment;

– ED visa – for studying at universities or language schools;

– O visa – for family reunification;

– OA and OX retirement visas – for people aged 50 and over who have a stable income or savings.

The choice of visa category determines which documents you will need to collect and how long you can stay in the country.
