This means that if your relative or friend, whom you have entrusted with your car, was behind the wheel, the other driver's motor insurance will be valid.

This rule applies regardless of whether the driver is listed in any documents. In Ukraine, motor vehicle insurance is issued for a vehicle, not for a specific driver. Therefore, car insurance that is not for the driver is common practice.
