After Ukraine wins the war, the state will face a new challenge - not only to restore what has been destroyed, but also to preserve human potential. One of the key problems may be the emigration of men who have gained experience, endurance and skills that are highly valued by the world during the years of combat. To keep them in Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy is already developing strategic initiatives.
In a conversation with News.LIVE journalist Halyna Ostapovets, Deputy Minister of Social Policy Daryna Marchak emphasized: "The world has already appreciated Ukrainians - they are strong, smart, hardworking. Therefore, we will have to work to become the best country for our citizens."
The Ministry has identified three key areas that will help retain men after the end of hostilities:
1. Decent housing for everyone
Housing is one of the most important issues for every Ukrainian returning from war or forced emigration. The Ministry of Social Policy emphasizes that housing does not have to be privately owned. It is important that it is decent, comfortable and individualized.
To this end, the Ministry is working to expand existing housing programs and create a social housing fund. This approach will allow many Ukrainians not only to have a roof over their heads, but also to feel safe and stable in the post-war period.

2. Affordable and decent work
Employment is the foundation of personal well-being and economic growth. The Ministry focuses on developing the labor market, creating new jobs and promoting entrepreneurship. It is important that every man has the opportunity to realize himself, provide for his family and contribute to the reconstruction of the state.
Particular attention will be paid to retraining veterans, developing small and medium-sized businesses, and creating conditions for attracting investment to the regions.
3. Comfortable and friendly cities
Cities where people want to live are the third important area. According to Daryna Marchak, every community should strive to create a “friendly to life” environment. This involves not only infrastructure changes, but also a safe, clean, accessible and attractive environment with quality services, green areas and opportunities for development.
Such cities will become real centers of post-war recovery and will motivate Ukrainians to stay at home, build the future, and be proud of their country.
These initiatives demonstrate the state's awareness of new challenges and determination to respond to them strategically. Post-war Ukraine has every chance to become not only a strong but also a comfortable country to live in - for those who defended it.
To recap! The Reserve+ application has become an important tool for citizens subject to mobilisation, but many face unexpected marks of violation of military registration rules. This can lead to fines and other consequences. We explained what this mark means and what to do if you face a similar problem.
