Ukrainian airline SkyUp Airlines has announced the opening of three new European destinations. From now on, passengers will be able to fly from Chisinau to Berlin, Prague, and Stockholm - cities that are in high demand among Ukrainian citizens.

These flights will start as early as June 2025, and this is great news for both Ukrainians living abroad and those planning to travel to Europe this summer.

Schedule of new SkyUp flights from Chisinau

SkyUp has announced the launch of the following routes:

● Chisinau - Stockholm: from June 1, 2025, every Tuesday and Sunday;

● Chisinau - Prague: from June 2, 2025, every Monday and Saturday;

● Chisinau - Berlin: from June 4, 2025, every Wednesday and Friday.

Thus, Ukrainians have convenient opportunities to get to the capitals of Germany, the Czech Republic, and Sweden, which remain among the most visited cities in Europe.

Why does SkyUp fly from Chisinau and not from Ukraine?

After the outbreak of a full-scale war, civil aviation in Ukraine was completely shut down for security reasons. Therefore, SkyUp Airlines is based at Chisinau Airport in neighboring Moldova, from where it operates international flights.

This airport is located close to the border with Ukraine and can be reached by bus or train, in particular from Odesa, Kyiv, or Vinnytsia.

What other destinations does SkyUp offer from Chisinau?

SkyUp is actively expanding its network of flights from Moldova. Among the already announced destinations to be opened in April are cities in Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, and Cyprus:

● Spain: Alicante, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca;

● Greece: Athens, Heraklion, Thessaloniki;

● France: Paris, Nice;

● Portugal: Lisbon;

● Cyprus: Larnaca
