Emergency assistance to refugees in the Czech Republic: Who is eligible?
This type of assistance is available to refugees who, for example, need
- a deposit when moving to another accommodation;

- transportation costs for the deceased, etc.
In addition, funds are allocated as a result of an event that could not have been foreseen or prevented and as a result of which a person is at risk of losing their home or the ability to meet their most basic needs.
The assistance can also be used to cover increased electricity costs, to pay the first rent when moving from emergency housing to other suitable housing.
In general, the new type of emergency assistance in the Czech Republic is intended for people who use temporary housing because they cannot live in their home because it was destroyed or damaged by the flood.
