Ukrzaliznytsia has introduced a new service for military personnel - the ability to purchase railway tickets from a special reserve through the Army+ mobile application. According to the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, this was made possible by UZ joining the military support service Plus.

The project was implemented with the support of Mastercard as part of the systemic support for the military personnel of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

How does ticket booking through Army+ work?

The military can purchase up to 4 tickets in one transaction through the mobile application. The system provides access to a special reserve of seats for trains running from or to cities located near the combat zone.

An important feature is that tickets from the special reservation are available from 5 days to 6 hours before the train departs from the initial station. For the convenience of users, the system shows all available seats for selected flights. This functionality is especially relevant in cases where regular tickets are already sold out.

After purchasing a ticket, it is important to:

● or take a screenshot of the ticket.

This is necessary because the ticket will not be saved in the system due to data protection requirements.
