As part of the World University project, 15 courses in marketing, programming, and project management have been launched on the Prometheus online platform. Ukrainians will be able to improve their skills and gain new knowledge from the world's most prestigious universities for free.

Earlier we told you that 17 Ukrainian universities were included in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025.

What courses will be available in Ukrainian?

Currently, registration for courses from leading educational institutions is already open on the platform: Harvard, MIT, Duke University, University of Illinois, University of California, and others.

The most recent ones are:

1. Python for Databases, Dr. Charles R. Severance. The course lasts 6 hours;

2. Python for the web, Dr. Charles R. Severance. Duration - 6 hours;

3. The Digital Marketing Revolution, University of Illinois. Duration - 4.5 hours;

4. Fundamentals of project management: project execution and control, University of Illinois. Duration - 6.5 hours;

5. Marketing in the digital world, University of Illinois. Duration - 4.5 hours;

6. Fundamentals of Corporate Finance: Part 1, University of Illinois. Duration - 6 hours;

7. CS50: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python, CS50: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python. Duration - 12 hours;

8. Programming for everyone: Python Fundamentals, University of Michigan;

9. Python: Data Structures, University of Michigan. Duration - 5.5 hours;

10. Programming basics with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Duke University. Duration - 4.5 hours;

11. Programming in Java: Software, Duke University. Duration - 5.5 hours;

12. Digital Media and Marketing Fundamentals, University of Illinois. Duration - 6 hours;

13. Digital Media and Marketing Strategies, University of Illinois. Duration - 4 hours;

14. Fundamentals of project management: Project Creation and Planning, University of Illinois. Duration - 6 hours;

15. First Aid, Johns Hopkins University. Duration: 3.5 hours.

What is the goal of the World University project?

Within 3 years, the World University plans to build a unique educational system of 50 courses from the world's most prestigious universities translated into Ukrainian completely free of charge.

The goal of the project is to make high-quality digital education accessible to every Ukrainian.

In just the first few months after the launch of the World University, more than 150,000 Ukrainians have already joined the program. The project is implemented by the professional development platform Prometheus with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
