At the beginning of December, the Ministry of Education and Science published a statistical report providing information on foreign students in Ukraine:

- the number of registered invitations to study for foreign students as of 31 October 2024;

- countries of origin of foreign students;

- statistics on the specialities they study;

- a list of educational institutions where foreigners study;

Where do the largest number of students come from?

Currently, 27.2 thousand foreign students are studying at Ukrainian universities. 7.1 of them entered this year. Most students in Ukraine come from the following countries:

- China - 10735;

- Azerbaijan - 4308;

- India - 1802;

- Georgia - 1291;

- Morocco - 1283;

- Turkey - 858;

- Turkmenistan - 858;

- Nigeria - 726;

- Russian Federation - 514;

- Bulgaria - 425.

- Medicine - 4488;

- Management - 3841;

- Economics - 1127;

- Law - 985;

- Pharmacy/industrial pharmacy - 979;

- Musical art - 969;

- pedagogical sciences - 866;

- shipbuilding - 837;
