Ukrainian healthcare professionals who were forced to move to Poland because of the war have a new opportunity for professional development and integration. CARE Poland has launched a financial support initiative for nurses and midwives from Ukraine.

The purpose of the CARE Poland program: what is known

The program aims to adapt Ukrainian specialists to the Polish healthcare system. It provides vouchers worth up to $1500 that can be used to cover the costs of:

- Nostrification of diplomas, which is an important step for official confirmation of qualifications.

- Studying at a Polish medical university for one year.

- Polish language courses that will help you reach the B1 or B2 level required to work in Polish medical institutions.

Who can participate?

The program is available for

- Citizens of Ukraine who arrived in Poland after February 24, 2022.

- Those who have temporary protection status (PESEL UKR), refugee status or a residence permit.

- Qualified nurses or midwives with at least three years of work experience in the last five years.

- Specialists who already have or plan to obtain a work permit in the Polish healthcare system.

- People with a basic level of Polish (A1-A2) who are willing to improve their language skills.

Registration for the program is open until December 31, 2024, which gives you enough time to collect the necessary documents and submit your application.
