What are the benefits of being unemployed in the Republic of Poland?

UAinKrakow.pl informs about the benefits of being granted unemployed status in Poland:

- the opportunity to apply for a special vacancy available only to the unemployed;

- individual consultations on career development;

- the possibility of obtaining a grant covering the cost of training for a future profession;

- free training at vocational courses (available at the request of the employer - if the courses are necessary for obtaining a job);

- the possibility of obtaining special NFZ insurance at the expense of the state - with insurance covering a second family member and a child under the age of 26 if he or she is studying at a university or school;

Documents required for registration:

- bank account number;

- original passport;

- original PESEL number;

- original birth certificates or passports of children;

How to register online?

Additional data to be provided when registering online:

- date and place of birth;

- address of residence in Poland;

- personal telephone number

- email address

- parents' names;

- marital status;

- number of dependent children (minors);

- education data (name of the educational institution with the date of graduation);

- knowledge of foreign languages;

- work experience in various fields;

- last place of employment (employer; place of registration of the employer; position held; reason for dismissal; period of work; hours of work);

- professional skills;

- company representation (if any);

- availability of benefits;

- desired profession;

When can a person lose the status of unemployed in Poland?

A person may lose the status of unemployed if he/she has received an official job or has not complied with the obligations of the unemployed:

- come to the labour office on time

- submit income tax returns and documents on time;

- report circumstances that prevent them from performing work (including travelling abroad);

- present a sick leave certificate (due to illness or caring for a sick family member);
