The State Border Guard Service (SBGS) of Ukraine will inform citizens about queues at the border through its social networks. This was announced by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, in a comment to UP.

According to Demchenko's statement, there are currently some problems with crossing the border.

"Although the summer season is over and there is a slight decrease in passenger traffic, the dynamics of border crossing remains quite high. On some days, more crossings are recorded for entry, while on other days, citizens are more likely to leave," said a representative of the Border Guard Service.

This situation leads to queues in front of the checkpoints and longer waiting times when crossing the border.

According to the SBGS decision, to solve this problem, the service will regularly publish information on the current state of queues at the border on the social network Telegram. This will allow citizens to keep track of where the biggest traffic jams are forming and where the queues are the shortest.

Demchenko explained that this solution is intended to give people the opportunity to choose the best routes for crossing the border.

Information on the state of the queues will be updated every three hours, from 6:30 to 21:30, on the SBGS Telegram page for the western sections of the border with countries such as Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Moldova.

It is important to note that the SBGS chose Telegram for this project in order to provide quick and easy access to information for every citizen.
