Obtaining housing for Ukrainians in the Czech Republic: what is changing
As you know, state humanitarian housing is the first form of assistance for asylum seekers who have been seeking refuge since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine and have not yet found housing in the Czech Republic.
More information about this service can be found on the page entitled "State humanitarian housing from July 1, 2023".

How to apply for housing in the Czech Republic?
If you intend to apply for state humanitarian housing in the Central Bohemian Region, you should contact the KACPU in Kladno or Kutná Hora.
The possibility of obtaining housing will depend on the availability of places in any municipality in the region.
If you already have a place of residence in the Czech Republic and you only need to apply for temporary protection, you should also contact the KACPU responsible for your place of residence. Find a list of regional centers of assistance to Ukraine here.
As a reminder, the Czech government has adopted an amendment to the "lex Ukraine" law, which allows Ukrainian refugees to extend their temporary protection status. Read more about when the asylum expires here.
