In addition, the Ukrainian territory is rich in gold deposits located in Zakarpattia and Donbas. On the European continent, Ukraine is one of the largest gold producers and boasts great potential in this area. 

As you know, our country has always been famous for titanium production - this resource is used to produce lightweight and durable alloys used in aviation and other industries.

In addition, Ukraine has large reserves of coal, natural gas and oil, which play an important role in energy production and other industries.

How much are Ukraine's resources worth?

According to Forbes, the value of all of Ukraine's mineral resources is currently estimated at $14.8 trillion. More than 70% of the total amount is accounted for in just three regions - Donetsk, Dnipro and Luhansk. 

Coal accounts for 62% of the total value of mineral resources, iron ore for 14%, and each of the other assets for less than 5%. The total volume of mineral resources is 111 billion tons.

However, despite the fact that Ukraine possesses such valuable natural resources, many of them are endangered by the aggression that the russian army continues to wage against Ukraine. Therefore, protecting the country's natural resources is an important task not only for Ukraine itself, but also for the entire world.
