In 2026, there will be 14 official non-working days in the country, some of which fall on weekdays, creating ideal conditions for mini-vacations.
Official holidays and non-working days in Poland in 2026
In 2026, Poles will have the following days off:
● January 1 — New Year's Day
● January 6 — Epiphany
● April 5 — Easter
● April 6 — Easter Monday
● May 1 — Labor Day
● May 3 — Constitution Day
● May 24 — Trinity Sunday
● June 4 — Corpus Christi
● August 15 — Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
● November 1 — All Saints' Day
● November 11 — Independence Day
● December 24 — Christmas Eve
● December 25 — Christmas

Bonus days off: a pleasant feature of Polish law
Polish labor law stipulates that if a public holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee receives an additional day off on another working day. In 2026, this rule will apply to:
● August 15 — Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
● December 26 — Boxing Day
