From August 14 to 17, one of the most atmospheric cultural events of the summer will take place in the historic heart of the capital, St. Sophia Cathedral: the eighth multidisciplinary festival Bouquet Kyiv Stage.

Four days of art, music, theater, cinema, visual projects, and deep conversations under the ash trees will unite Kyiv residents and visitors in the spirit of contemporary Ukrainian identity and European unity.

The heart of Europe beats in Ukraine

This is the slogan of this year's festival, organized by the Dom Master Class cultural center. The idea of uniting European and Ukrainian values through the language of art became central to the concept of the event.

"Ukraine has always been and will always be part of Europe... Today, the heart of Europe beats here, in Ukraine, in Kyiv, in St. Sophia Cathedral," emphasizes festival co-founder Yevgeny Utkin.

The festival aims to show that Ukrainian culture is an integral part of the European context, and artists are the voices of the times that shape new history.

Program: over 40 events and artists from around the world

This year's program is impressive in its diversity: over four days, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in over 40 artistic events.

Among them:

Exhibition “Ukraine — the Last Outpost of Light” — works by 28 Ukrainian artists;

The “Flowers from the Frontline” project — a herbarium from the front line, presented by the Prime Minister of Great Britain;

A photo exhibition by Serhii Mykhalchuk;

The “Liberated Music” cultural program — works by repressed Ukrainian composers;

The premiere of Manifest by the Kyiv Choir;

“Songs of Odysseus” by Alla Zagaykevych — a unique combination of bells and electronics;

KinoBouquet — previews of new Ukrainian films;

Kobzar Meadow — performances by traditional performers from all over Ukraine;

Discussions — on the topics of cultural genocide, art during war, and cultural diplomacy.

Star guests and international music scene

This year, the festival welcomes performers from Norway, Poland, Israel, and Ukraine. The following artists will perform on stage:

Eystein Sevog and Lucky Patey (Norway);

Mateusz Krzyżowski — Polish virtuoso pianist;

Amit Friedman Quartet — a jazz band from Israel.

Performances by star Ukrainian and foreign musicians are also expected, whose names are still being kept secret.

“As long as the heart of Ukraine beats, European civilization will exist,” said festival co-founder Iryna Budanska.

An atmosphere that unites

Bouquet Kyiv Stage is not only about artistic events, but also a space for reflection, inspiration, and new meanings. The traditional “Conversations under the Ash Tree” will become a place for dialogue between artists, philosophers, diplomats, and spectators.

And if you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Kyiv even more, stay for a few days after the festival and discover the capital from an unexpected angle. Walking gastronomic tours, street art routes, excursions to the non-touristy courtyards of Podil, as well as weekends in nature are a great opportunity to feel the pulse of the city in the rhythm of modern Ukraine.
