Repairs at the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint in August-September 2025: what drivers need to know
Infrastructure repairs will begin at the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint on August 4. Find out how this will affect traffic and how long the work will last
Starting Monday, August 4, 2025, repair work will begin on the Ukrainian side of the Yagodin-Dorogusk international border crossing point. This was officially announced by the State Customs Service of Ukraine on Telegram.
The roof, canopies, retaining wall, and a number of premises in the customs control area are scheduled to be renovated. This is part of a broader project to modernize border infrastructure, which is being implemented by the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in the Volyn region.
Repairs at the Yagodyn-Dorohusk checkpoint: what is known
Repair work will continue until September 30, 2025, which means almost two months of potential inconvenience. During the reconstruction, some lanes may be partially closed. However, according to customs, the checkpoint's capacity should remain stable. This means that delays are expected only in certain areas and on certain routes, depending on the stage of repair.
The Customs Service urges drivers of international flights and private cars to take into account possible changes in traffic organization in advance. If your route passes through Yagodin, we recommend checking the latest information on border traffic before departure.
This can be done on the interactive map of the State Customs Service.
