When do Ukrainians need a visa to enter Germany?


For short-term trips (up to 90 days within a 180-day period) within the Schengen area, Ukrainian citizens can travel without a visa. This regime applies provided that you have a biometric passport.


However, there are cases when a visa is required:


Long-term stays of more than 90 days — for example, if you plan to live in Germany for more than three months.
