In the latest ranking of the richest immigrants in the US according to Forbes, four Ukrainians made it onto the list of 125 billionaires from 41 countries. This allowed Ukraine to enter the top 10 countries in terms of the number of immigrant billionaires who made their fortune in the US.
These names are examples of impressive stories of immigrant success, and all were born in Ukraine but reached the top in the US by creating companies that changed global markets.
Who are these Ukrainian billionaires in the US?
🔹 Jan Koum— 9th place in the ranking, $16.9 billion

Ukraine's presence in the Forbes list
The top three immigrant billionaires are Elon Musk (South Africa, $393.1 billion), Sergey Brin (Russia, $139.7 billion), and Jensen Huang (Taiwan, $137.9 billion). But it is thanks to four Ukrainians that Ukraine is among the countries that most often “export” billionaires to the US.
This is not only a source of pride, but also a demonstration of the high entrepreneurial potential of Ukrainians around the world. As Forbes notes, the US currently has a record number of foreign billionaires, and the role of Ukrainian immigrants in this is growing.
