The Ukrainian government has approved the launch of a pilot project that allows Ukrainians to apply for civil service jobs directly through the Diia portal or app. The innovation will be another step toward digitizing public administration and simplifying citizens' access to jobs in the public sector.

This was announced by government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on his Telegram channel. According to him, the relevant proposal from the Ministry of Digital Transformation was approved at the level of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the official procedure for implementing this experiment has already been approved. The relevant resolution (No. 578) has already been published on the government portal.

What opportunities does employment through Diia open up?

For two years — the term envisaged for the implementation of the pilot project — Ukrainians will be able to look for work in selected state bodies through the Diia electronic portal. Currently, it is possible to apply for vacancies in the following institutions:

● Ministry of Digital Transformation (Mintransform),

● Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (Mineconom),

● State Enterprise “Diia.”
