This spring, Kyiv is once again turning into a bright blooming gallery - tulips have bloomed in the city, some of which the capital received free of charge from the Netherlands thanks to the support of the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Amsterdam, Emile de Sevren Jacquet. This was announced by Oleksandr Voznyi, Director of the Department of Environmental Protection and Climate Change at the Kyiv City State Administration.

"For the fifth year in a row, Kyiv has been receiving incredible Dutch tulips as a gift. They have become not only a spring decoration, but also a symbol of friendship between Ukraine and the Netherlands. We are sincerely grateful for the support, which is especially important in times of war,” he said.

This year, tulips can be seen in the heart of the city - on Independence Square, in Taras Shevchenko Park, near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and in other green areas.
