Additional trains from Ukrzaliznytsia for summer 2025: full list of destinations and schedule

Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled additional trains for the summer season for popular destinations. Find out when and where the additional trains will run so you can plan your trip conveniently, including transfers to international connections
With the start of the 2025 holiday season, Ukrzaliznytsia is expanding its passenger capacity by launching a number of additional trains on the most popular routes. In particular, the number of trains to seaside, mountainous, and central regions will increase, and new convenient routes for transfers to international trains to Poland, Moldova, and other European countries will appear.
According to the carrier's press service on Telegram, a total of 18 additional trains are planned, some of which are already in the schedule, while the rest will be added gradually. Up-to-date information on schedules and ticket availability can be conveniently checked through the Visit Ukraine ticket booking system, which allows you to quickly find the best travel options.
Trains Kyiv — Dnipro
Train No. 220/219 Kyiv — Dnipro will run on certain days of the week, increasing daytime service between the cities.
● From Kyiv: 14:35 → Dnipro: 21:26
● From Dnipro: 08:36 → Kyiv: 15:19
The schedule allows passengers from Dnipro to catch international flights from Kyiv to Chisinau, Przemyśl, Warsaw, and Chełm, including trains No. 351/352, No. 705/706, No. 67/68, and No. 19/20.
For those who prefer to travel at night, there is the Intercity+ No. 736/735 Kyiv — Dnipro:
● from Kyiv: 23:52 → Dnipro: 05:45
● from Dnipro: 23:24 → Kyiv: 05:17
Convenient transfers in Kyiv make it easy to reach Lviv, Rivne, Lutsk, Chernihiv, or Shostka — relevant for travelers from eastern Ukraine.
Sea destinations: trains to Odesa
The summer season is impossible to imagine without the sea, so Intercity No. 765/764 Kyiv — Odesa will be a lifesaver for those who want to relax on the southern coast.
● From Kyiv (from June 27): 21:49 → Odesa: 05:34
● From Odesa (from June 28): 06:54 → Kyiv: 15:01
The train will run six times a week. In addition to residents of the capital, this route is ideal for residents of Chernihiv and Sumy, who can conveniently reach Kyiv in the evening and be on the coast in the morning.
The route of train No. 147/148 Zhytomyr — Odesa has also been extended, providing a direct connection to Cherkasy — an important change for residents of Polissya.

Mountain destinations: trains to Yasinya, Uzhhorod, Ivano-Frankivsk
Fans of the Carpathians now have several new convenient routes.
The new train No. 228/227 Ivano-Frankivsk — Kramatorsk is one of the longest routes in the country (1,358 km) and will run every other day:
● Ivano-Frankivsk: 21:52 → Kramatorsk: 18:28
● Kramatorsk: 19:20 → Ivano-Frankivsk: 16:45
This route covers both night and day connections between Kyiv and the two end points of the journey.
Train No. 283/284 Kyiv — Uzhhorod will also run every other day:
● Kyiv: 15:21 → Lviv: 23:34 → Uzhhorod: 05:20
● Uzhhorod: 23:13 → Lviv: 05:51 → Kyiv: 13:12
This is ideal for those arriving in Kyiv from Kharkiv, Poltava, or Dnipro, as they will have time to transfer to this route.
Train No. 203/204 Kyiv — Yasinya will run:
● from Kyiv: 23:00 → Lviv: 07:28 → Yasinya: 14:17
● from Yasinya: 18:05 → Lviv: 00:51 → Kyiv: 09:18
This is a convenient option for passengers from Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Zaporizhzhia, or Dnipro, as the transfer in Kyiv allows them to comfortably cover the entire distance.
Additional trains from Kryvyi Rih and Vinnytsia
Intercity+ No. 739/740 Kyiv — Kryvyi Rih will expand access to Kryvbas:
● from Kyiv: 13:05 → Kryvyi Rih: 19:53
● from Kryvyi Rih: 22:37 → Kyiv: 05:14
The schedule has been adapted for convenient transfers to trains to Chełm and western Ukrainian cities.
Train No. 208/207 Odesa — Vinnytsia, which will connect the south with Podillia:
● from Odesa: 08:11 → Vinnytsia: 14:15
● from Vinnytsia: 15:05 → Odesa: 20:59
This route will be introduced if demand increases — it is relevant for travel during holidays or mass vacations.

In addition to the above, Ukrzaliznytsia is ready to schedule additional trains depending on passenger traffic. This includes the following trains:
→ No. 159/160 Kyiv – Truskavets
→ No. 167/168 Lviv – Odesa
→ No. 213/214 Kyiv – Uzhhorod
→ No. 239/240 Kyiv – Kamianets-Podilskyi
→ No. 263/264, No. 265/266, No. 291/292 Kyiv – Odesa
→ No. 761/762 Kyiv – Odesa
→ No. 777/778 Kyiv – Lviv
