Temporary changes to train services to the Carpathians: detailed schedule for May 23

Due to a landslide in the Yasinya-Voroneko section, Ukrzaliznytsia has been forced to temporarily suspend traffic on this mountainous section. To ensure passenger safety, all trains bound for Rakhiv will be rerouted to nearby stations, where passengers will be transferred to buses.

Changes in train service to the Carpathians: what happened?

According to an official statement from the carrier's press service, train service has been temporarily suspended due to a landslide on the Yasinya-Voronenko section. Repair crews are already working on site, but it will take time to fully restore service.

“We need time to fully repair the section, so all trains bound for Rakhiv will change their final destination,” Ukrzaliznytsia said.

How will trains to the Carpathians run on May 23?

The updated schedule is as follows:

➡︎ No. 233 Kyiv – Rakhiv: to Yaremche station (arrival at 05:21)

➡︎ No. 144 Rakhiv – Chernihiv: departs from Yaremche station at 12:24

➡︎ No. 55 Kyiv – Rakhiv: will run to Mykulychyn (arrival at 06:48), return trip – at 18:48

➡︎ No. 95 Kyiv – Rakhiv: arrives at Voronenko at 08:45, return trip – at 21:08

➡︎ No. 107 Kyiv – Rakhiv: also to Voronenko (arrival at 09:46), return trip – at 13:50

➡︎ No. 5 Zaporizhzhia – Yasinya: to Vorokhta (arrival at 10:04), return trip – at 13:03

➡︎ No. 25 Odesa – Yasinya: will run to Vorokhta (arrival at 11:35), return trip – at 15:35

➡︎ No. 357 Kyiv – Yasinya: to Mykulychyn (arrival at 11:58), return – at 15:27

➡︎ No. 1 Kharkiv – Vorokhta: will run to Yaremche (arrival at 12:55), in the opposite direction – at 17:12

➡︎ No. 143 Sumy – Rakhiv: to Vorokhta, arrival at 16:28

➡︎ No. 234 Rakhiv – Kyiv: will depart from Vorokhta at 22:36

Changes have also affected suburban services:

➡︎ Train No. 6441/6442 Kolomyia – Dilove will only run to the station in Deliatyn.

How will Ukrzaliznytsia bus transfers run?

For the convenience of passengers with tickets for long-distance trains, Ukrzaliznytsia has organized bus transfers. They will run in both directions between the shortened terminal and settlements that are currently not connected by rail due to repair work.
