New electronic ticket from Ukrzaliznytsia to Poland: what changes await passengers from May 14

Ukrzaliznytsia has updated its electronic tickets for trains to Poland, making them more convenient and modern. Find out what the new ticket looks like and which trains run between Ukraine and Poland
On May 14, 2025, Ukrzaliznytsia introduced a new electronic ticket for international routes between Ukraine and Poland, making the travel process even more comfortable for passengers. This innovation applies only to flights departing after the specified date.
According to the carrier, the new electronic form complies with modern international standards and is more convenient for both passengers and border and transport services.
What are the changes: what does the new ticket look like?
The updated e-ticket has a clearer structure and clearly displays passenger information, the route, train number, seat number, and departure and arrival times. In addition, the QR code has been improved and can now be scanned at the border and when boarding much faster than before.
This is particularly important for travelers to the EU, as the accuracy and speed of document checks play a critical role when crossing the border, especially in cases of transfers or connecting flights.
Previously, these new e-tickets were already in use on flights to Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia, and now Poland has also joined the list.
