The Transformation Office has named the top 5 cities in Ukraine that are most comfortable to live in as of February 2024, RBC-Ukraine reports.

The analysis took into account such criteria as the quality of infrastructure, accessibility of educational and cultural institutions, safety and environmental cleanliness.

Maksym Bakhmatov, head and founder of the Transformation Office, presented a list of the five most comfortable cities to live in in Ukraine. 

The leaders are:

• Ivano-Frankivsk;

• Vinnytsia

• Zhytomyr

• Kharkiv;

• Lviv.

Bakhmatov noted that because of the war, many Ukrainians moved to the west of the country, and businesses moved with them. This led to economic changes in the regions. For example, the cost of housing in Lviv is higher than in Kyiv, as well as the cost of rent and property.

Businesses from different cities, such as Kherson, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia, are trying to adapt to the new conditions by relocating or diversifying their operations to ensure sustainable development.
