L'Ucraina è tra i 20 paesi più influenti nell'Indice Globale del Soft Power 2023

Nel 2022, l'Ucraina è diventata conosciuta in tutto il mondo. Sfortunatamente, questo è stato dovuto a eventi terribili. Tuttavia, la maggior parte dei paesi ha imparato quanto sia forte, indistruttibile e potente il nostro paese. Di conseguenza, siamo tra i 20 paesi più influenti al mondo. Ukraine has been ranked 19th in the Global Soft Power Index 2023, significantly improving its result compared to previous years. This rating is the most comprehensive global study of the perception of national brands conducted by the British consulting company Brand Finance. 

What is the reason for the rapid improvement of the results?

This year, Ukraine's growth was the highest among the countries participating in the study. The report covers several indicators: global soft power, recognition, reputation, and influence.

Brand Finance surveyed more than 100 thousand respondents.

Ukraine's key indicators in 2023:

• Influence - 19th place;

• Recognition - 15th place;

• Reputation - 68th place;

• Soft Power Index - 37th place.

The last indicator means that a country's influence in the world is based on cultural and value factors, not military or economic power. 

It is noteworthy that respondents noted a change in the perception of Ukraine because of the war with russia. By the way, the war has become the most stable association with our country.  

These results are the achievement of Ukrainians, the President, diplomats and the Armed Forces, who tell stories of our people's courageous struggle every day. The study confirmed that the world now perceives Ukraine not as a distant and unknown country, but as a center of courage and freedom. 

Western countries and russia

The United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany traditionally top the ranking. This year, Japan has overtaken China and taken the fourth place.

The war started by russia dropped this country in the ranking. Not surprisingly, the reputation of the terrorist country has fallen to 105th place this year.
